Reduce Fly Activity:
Buildings with sanitation issues are four times more likely to have flies. Flies can carry more than 200 pathogens including Salmonella and E. coli, which they can transmit to food.
The common "house fly" is especially notorious for this, as it “tastes” every surface it lands on. Flies can only consume food in liquid form, therefore it regurgitates, ingests, leaving mouth secretions as well as feces on surfaces. When flying from surface to surface It can carry bacteria on its body and legs.

One fly may not seem to be a considerable dilemma. However, a single adult female housefly can lay 75-150 eggs at a time – which can grow from egg to adult in just under a week. This means that infestations can quickly arise.

Take preventative steps to help keep flies out and from becoming a problem. The most effective way is developed through a partnership with a Food Safety Pest Management provider.
