ORGANIC
To maintain organic food standards in our pest management practices, Farm2Fork Pest Services focuses on inspection, sanitation, structural maintenance, and mechanical control measures to minimize pest activity.

Farm2Fork Pest Services recognizes that some facilities are certified under the National Organic Program. The NOP dictates that the facility put into place preventative pest management measures and practices in order to deny access to pests; eliminate habitat, food sources, and breeding areas; and control environmental factors that impact pest activity such as light, temperature, humidity, atmosphere, and air circulation. Farm2Fork Pest Services employs physical controls such as mechanical traps, light traps, exterior rodent stations and glue boards if needed.
Pesticide use should only be considered once these measures and practices have been demonstrated and documented to be ineffective. Should pesticide application become necessary, Accredited Certifying Agents vary in their requirements and processes. Farm2Fork Pest Services can work with the Site Compliance Officer to help develop a customized Pest Management Organic Compliance Plan and Approved Materials List based off the NOP list.
Farm2Fork Pest Services does NOT apply pesticides inside the site without approval from the Site Contact including the specific product to be used, location of treatment, and method of application. The site is responsible for the implementation of any necessary product protection measures beyond careful and appropriate product application. An Approved Pesticide List will be maintained by both the contact and Farm2Fork Pest Services Manager.
